Participates in the Summit, but does not mention Tirana anywhere - Mickoski's post meets with reaction

The Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, today participated in the European Political Community Summit, which is being held in Tirana. But what is striking is that in his announcement of participation in the Summit, Mickoski nowhere mentions Tirana or Albania.

In his Facebook announcement, Mickoski writes that his participation in the Summit is a confirmation of his commitment to active participation in European processes and building a stable and prosperous neighborhood.

"Today I participated in the Summit of the European Political Community, together with the leaders and representatives of the Western Balkan countries. The Summit is dedicated to promoting regional cooperation, stability and rapprochement with the EU, emphasizing the importance of joint action in the face of the challenges facing our continent."

"In the open discussion, views were exchanged on key topics for strengthening the region's connection with the rest of Europe. Our presence and participation in this Summit is a confirmation of our commitment to active participation in European processes and building a stable and prosperous neighborhood," Mickoski wrote, without mentioning the location of the summit.

This post of his was also met with ridicule by some commentators on his page, who wrote that they are aware that the venue for the Summit is Albania, namely Tirana. /Telegrafi/
