World War II Veterans Organization Kosovo Liberation Army (OVL) has reacted after the statements of the Minister for Communities and Returns, Nenad Rashiq, regarding the way the decision was made to transfer 24 hectares of land in the name of Deçan Monastery.

In their reaction, the veterans say that the statements according to which the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, took this action "for the sake" of the minister, show - according to them - the true face of the government and its orientation against the interests of the citizens of Kosovo.

According to OVL, recent developments are unacceptable and constitute games with Kosovo's property and territory.

"The categories emerging from the KLA war express strong opposition to the games with the property and territory of Kosovo, which this government is playing in the service of personal whims and favors," the reaction states.

The veterans also emphasize that any attempt to relativize this issue deepens, according to them, the violation of dignity and the insult to the sacrifice of the Albanian people and those who fell for freedom.

The debate over the land of the Deçan Monastery has returned to the center of public discussion after statements by Minister Rashiq about how the decision to register the 24-hectare property in the name of the monastery was made.
