Opposition protest against TikTok shutdown, roads blocked from 14:00 PM

The state police have published the plan of measures for the progress of the protest announced by the opposition this evening against the decision to close TikTok, which is expected to start at 19:00 PM, in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

In implementation of these measures, in order to guarantee the smooth running of the rally, on 15.03.2025, movement will be restricted on several road axes/segments, specifically:

-No parking will be allowed on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, on "Mother Teresa" square, on "Ismail Qemali" street, from the intersection of Elbasani Street with "Ibrahim Rrugova" street, on "Papa Gjon Pali II" street, on "Jeanne D'Ark" boulevard and "Bajram Curri" boulevard, from the intersection of Elbasani Street with "Ibrahim Rugova" street;

-From 14:00 PM until the end of the rally, there will be a traffic jam on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard, from the intersection near the Ministry of Interior to "Mother Teresa" Square, as well as on "Ukraine e Lirë", "Papa John Paul II" and "Ismail Qemali" streets.

Depending on the development of the rally, there may be restrictions on vehicle traffic on other road axes. /euronewsalbania/
