OpenAI launches ChatGPT Health with Apple Health and MyFitnessPal integration

OpenAI is launching ChatGPT Health, which is a special place within ChatGPT where you can connect your Apple Health, MyFitnessPal, Function, Weight Watchers, AllTrails, Instacart, and Peloton accounts and ask questions about your health.
OpenAI says ChatGPT is "designed in close collaboration with doctors" to "help people take a more active role in understanding and managing their health and well-being." And to use ChatGPT more, reports the Telegraph.
Based on "de-identified conversation analysis," OpenAI knows that over 230 million people across the globe already ask ChatGPT about health and wellness, and ChatGPT Health is intended as a place to make this safer.
In Health, there is "purpose-built encryption and isolation," OpenAI's press release states, "to keep health conversations protected and segregated."

The company also promises that it won't use your Health conversations to train its models, and points out that if you want extra security, you can enable multifactor authentication.
OpenAI is partnering with b.well, “the largest and most secure network of directly connected health data for US consumers,” which “adheres to the highest industry standards in data security and privacy” if you want to connect your medical data too.
The special Health model can, among other things, explain lab test results in easy-to-understand language, prepare questions for an appointment, interpret data from wearables and wellness apps, and summarize care instructions. To use Health, simply select it from the side menu in ChatGPT.
ChatGPT Health is now available to "a small group of early adopters" outside the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Medical data integrations are for the US only. /Telegraph/
