PE Water Supply and Sewerage - Skopje informs that after the inspections carried out, it was found that the water in the capital meets the standards and is safe for drinking.
"In order to better inform the citizens of the City of Skopje, it publishes a weekly report on the quality and safety of drinking water, obtained from the analyzes conducted in the Sanitary Control Sector."
"The Sanitary Control Sector in the period from 05.01.2026 to 09.01.2026 took 110 samples for physico-chemical analysis and 110 samples for microbiological analysis of drinking water from 38 measuring points in the City of Skopje."
"According to the results of the analysis, all samples complied with the Regulation on the requirements for the safety and quality of drinking water (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia, No. 183/18)," the NP says.
