The Turkish star, who impressed with his performances at EURO 2024 last summer, has been unable to break into Carlo Ancelotti's first-team squad at the Bernabeu and is said to be on the move in the summer, either on loan or on a permanent transfer.
According to reports from multiple media outlets, including Tuttosport and Sport.es, Guler is keen on the idea of a move to Italy, despite reported interest from Bundesliga sides Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt.
Sport.es notes that the success of fellow Turkish talent Kenan Yildiz in Serie A with Juventus is part of the reason why Italy is an attractive destination for Guler.
Inter also feel they have a slight advantage over some of the other interested teams given the presence of Turkish national team captain Calhanoglu, who could potentially play a role in convincing Guler to join. /Telegraph/
