Nokia is making a comeback, outselling HTC, Sony, Google and other rivals

It looks like HMD Global's new Nokia Android models are catching on, according to a recent report Nokia sold more phones than HTC, Sony, Google, OnePlus and more in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The news comes from analyst Neil Shah at Counterproint who has revealed that Nokia sold 4,4 million phones in the fourth quarter of 2017.

This means that Nokia has sold more devices individually than companies like HTC, Sony, Google, Alcatel, Lenovo, OnePlus, Gionee, Meizu, Coolpad, Asus.

Nokia is a powerful brand that was once the leader of the global phone market, before the phones that are now known as 'smart' came into the market. But even now their manufacturer, HMD Global is doing a good job with new phone models.

With this amount of sales, Nokia is now ranked 11th as a seller of mobile phones in the global market.
