Nokia introduced the world's first 5G camera that can do this

Nokia introduces the world's first 5G camera that offers 8K video streaming with spatial audio and a robust design for use in various conditions.

The Nokia 360 Camera is the newest device that Nokia introduces to the professional camera market. It has the ability to stream live video with 8K resolution and spatial audio using low-latency connections such as 5G, Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

As the manufacturer himself points out, the Nokia 360 Camera is mainly aimed at industrial users. The version with 5G connection stands out for its durability, is suitable for extreme temperatures and is IP67 certified for resistance to water, dust and shocks.

Furthermore, it is equipped with advanced cyber security systems to ensure data protection and reliable operation.

This device runs on Nokia's Real-time eXtended Reality Multimedia (RXRM) software, which supports 360-degree video, 3D OZO sound, and offers advanced analytics and augmented reality creation capabilities.

According to Sami Ranta, general manager of RXRM at Nokia, this solution enables the improvement of business processes for industrial customers, reducing costs in remote operations, such as supervision, training and management of field operations. He also pointed out that the camera is suitable for applications in sports and entertainment events.

An example of the use of this technology is its implementation in Europe's deepest mine, Pihasalmi in Finland, where it is used for research activities and remote training in cooperation with the Finnish company Callio Pihajarvi. /Telegraph/
