"Night Wolves", the group that is trying to cause crises in the north

The tendencies to create crises in the four northern municipalities are suspected to be created by a group called "Night Wolves". However, the Parliamentary Commission for Security Affairs says that this group has no potential to escalate the situation.

Incidents in the northern municipalities of the country are not few. At the end of September, this oil pump in Zveçan was the target of an attack by an explosive device.

A similar thing happened a few days ago in the backyard of the police officer from the Serbian community.

It is learned that in the four northern municipalities, a group called "Wolves of the Night" is operating, who are trying to cause crises through intimidation of citizens.

The Parliamentary Committee for Security Affairs says that this group has no potential to escalate the situation.

"There is a trend of their development, but they are very insignificant at the moment because the criminals and terrorists were engaged and operating in the north are no longer. Because the police and other security institutions are there 24 hours a day and every road is monitored almost in the northern part", said the member of the Commission for Security Affairs, Mefail Bajqinovc, to barrel1.

According to deputy Bajqinovci, Serbia is trying to create instability in the north.

"Although it is always expected from Serbia, you have reported and made public photos where you can see people who are being recruited and trained in Kapaonik and in other parts of Serbia", said Bajqinovci.

And the Police say that the situation on the ground remains delicate due to political actions.

"What we can say as the Police is that the situation continues to be calm, but delicate, considering the developments that have been going on for 2 years. Nothing has changed in terms of security. The situation that happened 1 year ago has changed the situation for the better, but the situation remains delicate. If something happens, it cannot make many changes, but even if it happens, we are here to react", said the Deputy Director of Police for the Northern Region, Veton Elshani.

Security expert Arben Dashevci finds it impossible for this group to raise tensions.

"So we are seeing their attempts in the external aspect, while in the internal aspect I think that the situation is under control and these small criminal groups or fragments will not succeed in the Republic of Kosovo, because our security bodies are in unprecedented vigilance", said Dashevci.

A few days ago, new posters were placed in North Mitrovica, where the logo of this group was seen, with the inscription "Don't worry, we are here".
