Although neither team is in contention for the championship trophy this season, the clash between FC Skopje and Vardar remains the most passionate and most competitive derby in local football, reports Telegrafi.
This is the most important match between the two biggest teams in the capital - and the country - which, regardless of their positions in the standings, always attracts extraordinary attention.
According to the official announcement, this duel will take place on Saturday (03.05.2025), and not on Sunday as requested by FC Skopje, due to the high risk assessment by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has insisted on changing the date for security reasons, classifying the match as a "high-risk match".
The match between FC Skopje and Vardar will be played at the Chair Stadium and is scheduled to start at 16:00. Fans, as always, are expected to fill the stadium and create a unique atmosphere for a match that goes beyond football and is a symbol of pride, identity and history in Skopje. /Telegraph/
