Kosovo Police have announced that they have arrested two suspects for issuing bad or counterfeit checks, misuse of bank cards and identity theft.
The incident occurred in Podujeva in October 2025.
"Relevant police units have conducted raids in three locations and arrested two Kosovar male suspects. The suspects, with the aim of material gain, have distributed videos and photos on the internet (various social networks), showing white cards, which they have posted as being filled with various amounts of money and ready for purchase," the announcement states.
As material evidence, two laptops, three mobile phones, imitation 5, 10 and 20 euro banknotes with which the online crime was simulated, a white card and three gas pistols with 17 cartridges were confiscated from the suspects, for which a special case was initiated at the police station in Podujeva.
The suspects, after being interviewed by order of the prosecutor, were released in a regular procedure. /Telegraph/
