The improvisation of the traditional Mirdita wedding has been the way that the Mirdita Municipality has chosen to promote tourism in this area.
Organized in one of the oldest towers of Mirdita in the area of Kthella, followed by the curious eyes of dozens of tourists, coming from different countries of the world, the products of the area were exhibited.
The detailed elements of clothing, the artisanal way of carving the couplet, the medicinal plants as well as the gastronomic products, attracted the attention of tourists. the morning dance, intertwined with the wedding customs of the province, created atmosphere in the hundred-year-old tower.
The Mayor of Mirdita, Ndrec Dedaj, invited tourists to visit the area, while the director of the Palace of Culture in Rreshen, Gjergj Marku, listed some of the points why this area should be explored, adding that Mirdita is becoming one of the most sought-after tourist destinations.
Among the reasons to visit Mirdita, there are also the gastronomy intertwined with the folklore, but also the local hospitality.
