A group of supporters of the Albanian dictator, Enver Hoxha, called the Popular Front for the Cultivation of the Work of Enver Hoxha, have decided to build a memorial to Hoxha, somewhere between Ferizaj and Pristina.
This is what Erald Selca from the Popular Front for the Cultivation of the Work of Enver Hoxha said in Info Magazine of Klan Kosova.
"It is not a bizarre idea to build the bust of the greatest leader in Albanian history, if he has an 8-meter bust, we will build an 11-meter bust for him. The idea of building a memorial is not present, it is not feasible. The means exist, the financing will be with his own forces, and Enver Hoxha liberated Albania in 45 with his own forces where 28 thousand people gave their lives", said Selca in Info Magazine.
"We will build it, we will have a surprise on October 16. We prefer to build it between Pristina and Ferizaj. The mayor of the municipality of Ferizaj today wanted to participate in the ceremony for Enver Hoxha and this is very good", he said.
Selca was in the studio with a T-shirt that had Enver Hoxha's photo on it.
"The T-shirt I wear with Enver Hoxha is Che Guevara-like. It's not bizarre at all. Enver Hoxha is the honor of the Albanian nation, the brightest Albanian figure".
Besides the memorial, the initiative of this group is to name a square with the name of Hoxha.
"Ferizaj is the stronghold of Enveristas, a few years ago 3 thousand signatures were collected for naming a square after Enver Hoxha", said Selca.
