Today, December 5, in the four municipalities in northern Kosovo, in the northern ones of Mitrovica, Leposavic, Zvecan and Zubin Potok, the constitutive sessions of the municipal assemblies were held.

During these sessions, the oath of office of the new mayors, the fourth from the Serbian List, was also taken.

The oath-taking ceremony was held in the presence of the symbols of the state of Kosovo.

Today, constituent sessions are also being held in Gracanica, Novo Brdo, Partesh, Ranillug, Shtërpcë and Kllokot.

Otherwise, the constitutive sessions of the municipal assemblies are held after the certification of the local elections by the CEC. The local elections were held on October 12.

Dragisa Milović has been sworn in as the new mayor of Zvečan. The ceremony took place after PDK's Ilir Peci officially handed him over the job, marking the return of the Serbian List to the head of the municipality.

In his speech after the oath, Milović pledged cooperation with all international and institutional mechanisms operating in Kosovo.

"I will also cooperate with representatives of the missions with KFOR with EULEX with OSCE with all institutions in Pristina, MLGA and you, the media. We must understand that local governance must be focused on citizens. Anyone who comes here should be welcomed... for the good of our citizens," said Milović.

As reported by Dukagjini, when asked by journalists whether he respects the symbols of Kosovo, Milović answered briefly.

"You'll see in the coming days, I'm not talking today," he replied.
