However, the famous Dr. Michael Mosley reminds us that there are many good weight loss plans that are based on a liquid diet. Such, for example, is the "soup and shake" diet, for which it is important to prepare meals from quality ingredients", says the author of popular diet regimes.

In his famous "5:2" diet, you eat 500 calories for five days and eat normally two days a week. In the second, the plan is to have 800 to 1000 calories per day over a period of 2 to 12 weeks.

"More than 50 people have had this diet, and the most severe consequences that have been observed are headaches and occasional constipation," says Dr. Mozli.

"I weighed 140 kg and my waist circumference was 126 cm," said one of the participants in the program. "I followed all the advice, I was very motivated. I got a meal every four hours – a soup or a shake. The results were excellent, I even managed to beat type 2 diabetes”.

Among the dishes recommended in a liquid diet are: tomatoes, pumpkin, peas, mushroom soup, but also chicken soup with the addition of red lentils, pumpkins or peas.
