Lewandowski, Raphinha and Yamal or Bellingham, Mbappe and Vinicius Jr? One trio has twice as many goals before El Clasico

After the arrival of Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid fans were excited about the trio of Bellingham-Mbappe-Vinicius (BMV). But, going into El Clasico, Barcelona's front three has proven to be more effective.

Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and Lamine Yamal have formed a lethal partnership this season. Together, they have contributed to 34 goals in La Liga, which is double the number of Real Madrid's BMV, who have only managed 17 goals in the Spanish league.

Lewandowski leads Barça's figures with 12 goals and two assists. Raphinha has added five goals and five assists, while Yamal has scored four goals and assisted on six others.

In comparison, Bellingham has yet to score and has just one assist. Mbappe has scored six times, three from penalties, and Vinicius Jr has five goals and four assists.

Real Madrid will rely on their BMV trio this Saturday, especially with Rodrygo unavailable. Ancelotti is likely to stick with Vinicius and Mbappe at the front of the attack, while Bellingham can make his runs from deep.

Meanwhile, Barcelona's strength does not stop at the front three. Flick's side also boast attacking threats from Dani Olmo, Fermin Lopez and Pedri, who have added to the team's goal tally this season.

A win at the Santiago Bernabeu could put Barcelona six points clear, strengthening their position at the top of La Liga. /Telegraph/
