Kurti in Peja: We set our own records and break them ourselves

LVV's candidate for prime minister, Albin Kurti, held a rally in Peja, where he thanked the citizens for their continuous support to the Government and the Vetëvendosje Movement.

He described the support of the people of Peja as unstinting and unstoppable, emphasizing its importance in facing challenges and crises.

"Dear Peja, this warm hospitality fills my heart with joy and my mind with responsibility. Thank you very much. Thank you for tonight, thank you for each day, each week, each month, throughout these many years that you have supported us without reserve, without saving, without rest in all the storms and crises that we have gone through as the Government of the Republic and as a Movement Self-determination," Kurti said.

He praised the city of Peja as a special place, mentioning its natural beauty, history and culture.

"Dear citizens of Peja, there is no power that can stop the victory of Vetëvendosje. The victory of Vetëvendosje and our coalition with Guxo and Alternativa cannot be stopped even by ourselves, because the people have decided and are deciding themselves," said Kurti, underlining the determination to continue the path started.

He highlighted the achievements of his government, citing the increase in gross domestic product, tax revenues and the state budget during his tenure.

"Now, like never before, we have grown a lot and when you grow a lot, the opportunities to grow increase. But now we need to grow even more, we need to increase our victory to the height of half a million hearts of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo," he said.

Kurti called for a large turnout in the upcoming elections, stressing the importance of women's involvement in both voting and employment.

"With over 500 hearts weaving the victory string of number 118, let's also break the record in employment with over half a million citizens of the Republic who work for their families, for their homeland, for everyone's well-being," concluded Kurti.
