Killed the mother, indictment against a woman in Kavadar

Kavadar Basic Public Prosecution has submitted an indictment for the criminal offense of "murder" to the competent court.

On September 10 of this year, in the family home in Kavadar, during domestic violence, the accused tried to take the life of her mother, with whom she lived in the same house. While the victim was sleeping, the accused hit her several times on the head with a hammer, causing serious bodily injuries. She then threw the hammer in the backyard and didn't finish the job.

"According to the expertise, it has been established that she committed the attempted murder under conditions of significantly reduced calculation caused by mental disorders, the use of drugs and psychoactive substances at many levels."

"Since the legal bases still exist, the public prosecutor has submitted to the Basic Court in Kavadar a proposal for the continuation of the predetermined measure of detention for the accused", say the Prosecutor's Office.
