Juventus will soon announce the signing of goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio to strengthen the goal for the new season.

Di Gregorio comes from Monza and Juventus must pay around 20 million euros to acquire the services of the Italian goalkeeper who has had a fantastic season in Serie A.

This is a goalkeeper who was among the best in Serie A, keeping 14 clean sheets and conceding a total of 35 goals in the 33 games he was on the pitch.

At the end of the season, Serie A declared him the best goalkeeper of the championship, but this did not bring coach Luciano Spalletti an invitation to the European Championship.

At Juventus, he will fight for the starting position with Polish veteran Wojciech Szczesny and Mattia Perina.

Juventus and Monza have yet to agree on a transfer formula. There is a possibility that Juventus will loan him with a compulsory purchase.

Di Gregorio is a goalkeeper who grew up in Inter's academy, before also playing for Renate, Novara and Perdenone./Telegraph/
