It seems that Usyk's punches have taken their toll on Fury, the Brit says he has beaten the Ukrainian

Tyson Fury says he 'took Oleksandr Usyk's head off right away' and believes he won their undisputed clash last month.

Fury surrendered the WBC world heavyweight title as he suffered the first loss of his career to Usyk.

He lost a split decision to the Ukrainian, who was crowned the undisputed heavyweight champion in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Over a month after the fight, Fury thinks he won and claimed the bout was 'much easier' than he thought.

The previously unbeaten Briton also revealed his in-ring problem with Usyk as he compared his rival to a 'local amateur'.

Speaking on Furocity Energy's YouTube channel, he said: “I watched a lot of the match and I got the same answer - I thought I won. Usyk knows he didn't beat me... I thought I punched my head for most of the rounds."

“He broke my nose in the eighth round, took it 10-8 in the ninth round and I gave him the tenth round. But other than that, I didn't give it another round… It was actually a lot easier than I thought. People were saying he's hard to hit, I was lighting him up with four-punch combos and laughing at him."

Fury added: “My problem was that I probably had too much fun. It was very easy. It was like I was there with a local amateur boxer. I was enjoying it a lot, I was messing around and I paid the ultimate price in the ninth round," he added.
