The US Embassy in Tirana today promoted the 60th anniversary of Albania's membership in UNESCO, choosing as the photo of the day images of the artists of Iso-Poliphony.
"Today is the 60th anniversary of Albania's membership in UNESCO. Do you know that Albanian iso-polyphony, declared a masterpiece of the heritage of humanity, is protected by UNESCO?", says the American embassy.
The embassy emphasizes that iso-polyphony is also one of the treasures that the American Embassy in Tirana has supported through the Ambassadors' Fund for Cultural Heritage.
The Embassy of the United States hereby announces that it welcomes project proposals for the 2019 Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Heritage.
