The Municipality of Drenas, within the framework of Cervical Cancer Awareness Week and in cooperation with the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo, will organize an informative and educational lecture with the aim of raising awareness about prevention, early detection and care for women's health.
The lecture will be held on February 2, 2026, starting at 13:00 PM, in the hall of the Main Center for Family Medicine in Drenas, third floor. It will be lectured by Dr. Afrodita Sejda.
The Municipality of Drenas announces that cervical cancer is one of the diseases that can be prevented and successfully treated if detected in the early stages.
On this occasion, all women and girls are invited to participate in the lecture and be informed about the importance of regular check-ups, including Pap tests and HPV testing, risk factors, vaccination, as well as methods of prevention and health care.
Municipal authorities emphasize that caring for women's health remains a priority and encourage the widest possible participation in this awareness-raising activity. /Telegrafi/
