The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, following the developments of the investigation, has today filed an indictment at the Basic Court in Pristina - Special Department, against the defendant J. Sh. of Bosniak nationality, for committing the criminal offense: "War crime against the civilian population".

The announcement states that the defendant is accused of participating in the murder of three civilians of Albanian nationality during the war in Kosovo, which occurred in the Dyla family home in Gjakova.

The investigations also revealed that the defendant participated in the eviction of the Dyla family and the destruction of their property.


This criminal case has already been handed over to the Special Department of the Basic Court in Pristina for further proceedings.

The defendant is being held in pre-trial detention according to the decision of the preliminary procedure judge until a new decision by the court. /Telegraph/
