A backyard in Florida became a battlefield for a bear fight when the two predators began to fight in an intense confrontation that was caught on home cameras.
The incident happened on July 8 at around 21pm in the town of Mary Esther and shows a bear accompanied by her three cubs calmly sniffing around the homeowner's yard before the fight began.
The owner of the house, who wanted to be referred to as Chris, witnessed the chaotic confrontation and posted the video on social networks, reports Daily Mail, the Telegraph reports.
"I spent 20 years in the military and I've seen some pretty crazy things, but I've never seen anything like this. Everyone I showed that video to said the same thing: 'Wow, I've never seen anything like this before,'" he said.
The peace was broken when an unexpected guest ran towards them by jumping the fence. The duel quickly escalated, resembling a scene of a mixed martial arts cage match, but the cage in this case was nature.
The homeowner tried to intervene and scare the bear off his property using an air horn before things escalated – but it was too late.
The bears didn't seem at all spooked by the loud noise as they continued their fierce confrontation with the cubs who fled the scene.
