Today at around 11:00, in the Orthopedics Department of the "Dr. Sami Haxhibeqiri" General Hospital, three employees – a nurse and two physical security workers – were attacked while performing their duties.
According to the hospital's announcement, the attack occurred while staff were ensuring compliance with the rules for entering the ward and preventing the presence of unauthorized persons.
"The three hospital workers received emergency medical treatment following the incident," the hospital said in a statement.
The hospital condemns any form of violence against healthcare staff and physical security workers.
"We request from the competent authorities that the case be handled quickly and in accordance with the law," the announcement states. /Telegrafi/
