In North Macedonia we export the most, from Turkey we import - Kosovo's main trading partners in 2023

North Macedonia for the export of products and Turkey for their import are the main commercial partners of Kosovo during 2023.

These statistics are provided by the Institute for Advanced Studies GAP based on the data of the Customs of Kosovo.

According to the data, Kosovo exports to North Macedonia with 120.5 million euros, followed by Albania with 112.7 million, the USA with 103.9 million, Germany with 85.9 million, Switzerland with 71.8 million, writes Telegrafi.


Then come Serbia, Montenegro, Italy, Turkey and Austria.

Meanwhile, Kosovo mostly imported from Turkey in 2023.

Regarding imports, Turkey's participation in the trade balance is 13.6 percent or 782.09 million euros, followed by Germany with 746.5 million euros or 12.9 percent.

Then comes China with 648.0 million euros or 11.2 percent, Greece with 5.7 percent or 330.7 million, Albania with 5.7 percent or 326.2 million.

Then comes North Macedonia, Italy, India, Serbia and Poland in the ranking list.

The difference in import in 2023 compared to 2022 is the import from Serbia.

In 2022, Serbia was in the fourth place from which we imported with 6.63 percent or 371.6 million, while in 2023 it is in the 9th place with 3.4 percent or 198.2 million euros.

Meanwhile, the difference in exports is that in 2022 we exported mostly to the USA, while in 2023 we mostly exported to the region, to North Macedonia, Albania and then to the USA.

Otherwise, the value of imported goods for 2023 is 5 billion and 77 million euros, while the value of exported goods was 819.6 million euros.
