The Orthodox Church of Macedonia and the ecclesiastical issue has been one of the topics of conversation on which the head of the Greek Orthodox Church, Archbishop Jeronimos and the Heavenly Patriarch, Bartholomew, have spoken.
Bartolomeu also met with the Greek president, Prokopis Pavlopoulos, and Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
This visit comes a few days after the announcement that the Heavenly Patriarchate will consider the request of Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, regarding the Orthodox Church of Macedonia./Telegraph/
