IFA 2024: Samsung showcases the power of its AI products to create a connected world for everyone

Samsung’s “AI for All” encompasses a wide range of its AI-enabled products, from mobile devices, to home appliances and home entertainment systems. By the end of 2024, Samsung expects to have 200 million Galaxy AI-enabled devices in users’ hands. Including, Sketch to Image, which allows users to visualize their ideas through image options created from a simple drawing, and Portrait Studio, which fosters creativity by helping users create a more personalized avatar for use online.

HE Meets YouThe Premiere 9 and The Premiere 7 projectors bring advanced laser technology to home entertainment, delivering incredible 4K resolution and immersive audio on screens up to 130 inches. They feature AI-powered technology, including Upscaling, which upscales content to 4K quality, and Vision Booster, which adjust brightness and contrast for optimal viewing in different lighting conditions. Designed to transform living spaces into premium home theaters, these projectors offer a superior viewing experience with the latest technology.Also on stage at IFA were the latest innovations in Samsung TVs. Since 2015, Tizen OS has powered hundreds of millions of smart TVs, leading the evolution of TV viewing. Samsung AI TVs 2024 will receive Tizen OS upgrades for seven years considering hardware specifications. This ensures that consumers can continue to enjoy the latest innovations and improved connectivity on all their Samsung devices.

Samsung’s Neo QLED 8K AI displays deliver an enhanced viewing experience with the built-in NQ 8 AI Gen 3 processors. These processors feature 512 neural networks – eight times more than before, and when combined with the power of AI, deliver a personalized, high-quality sound and picture experience. This technology upscales on-screen content to deliver the sharpest, clearest picture ever.Recent developments at The Frame and Art Store were also celebrated at IFA with the announcement of several new partnerships. Along with collaborations with Finnish design house Marimekko and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Samsung presented an exclusive collection of 12 masterpieces by Belgian surrealist René Magritte. These partnerships enable users to bring extraordinary art into their homes, adding a touch of magic to their everyday environment.Samsung is also offering greater control and accessibility for users. For example, Samsung developed and implemented an Auto Open Door feature on some models of washing machines and refrigerators so that users can open the doors with a light touch. A recent update allows people to open the door by simply saying, "Open the fridge door," even without wake-up commands like "Hi Bixby."AI Meets WorldSamsung believes that AI is a force for good and one that plays a critical role in allowing us all to take better care of the planet and each other.Samsung has continued its mission to become Net Zero by 2050, with 93% of its DX Division's operations running on Renewable Energy sources..Within its products, Samsung continues to prioritize energy efficiency and is passionate about using AI to make this possible. Whether that's AI inside appliances like its refrigerators and washing machines, or using AI to unlock the potential of its SmartThings Eco system to save more energy.Samsung's AI Hybrid Refrigerators are built with energy savings in mind. By combining two power sources, a compressor and Peltier cooling technology, the refrigerator reacts intelligently when more energy is used than usual. For example, if the refrigerator door is left open for longer, Peltier technology works as an additional source of cooling to improve overall energy efficiency.

Bespoke AI devices can also save energy costs through Optimal Scheduling and Optimal Charging.
