The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to come with these 12 new features

Apple is expected to reserve the largest number of innovations and improvements for its iPhone 17 Pro models.

If the company continues to keep up with the current pace, the new iPhone 17 series is expected to be introduced in September of this year. As usual, the most attention will be paid to the Pro models, about which many rumors are already circulating.

Aluminum frame
The iPhone 17 Pro models are said to have an aluminum frame, unlike the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro which use titanium, while the iPhone X through iPhone 14 Pro models are made of stainless steel, writes MacRumors. The back of the device is expected to have a new design that combines aluminum and glass.

Rectangular camera module
The iPhone 17 Pro models are expected to feature a large, rectangular camera module with rounded edges. Apple is said to be planning to retain the current triangular lens layout on the back.

More scratch-resistant screen
The iPhone 17 Pro's screen is expected to have a new anti-reflective coating, which will make it more scratch-resistant compared to previous models.

Bigger battery
The iPhone 17 Pro Max is said to have a slightly thicker design, which will allow for a larger battery.

A19 Pro chip
The iPhone 17 Pro models are expected to feature Apple's new A19 Pro chip, which will be manufactured using TSMC's advanced third-generation 3nm process technology. As before, slight improvements in speed and power efficiency are expected compared to current models.

Apple Wi-Fi 7 chip
All four iPhone 17 models are expected to use the Apple-designed Wi-Fi 7 chip, instead of the Broadcom chip that has been used so far.

24 megapixel front camera
All iPhone 17 models will have an improved 24-megapixel front-facing camera, which is twice as much as the iPhone 12's 16 MP camera.

48-megapixel rear telephoto camera
The iPhone 17 Pro models are expected to feature an improved 48-megapixel telephoto camera, a significant increase over the 12 MP in the iPhone 16 Pro.

Video recording with both cameras simultaneously
According to Jon Prosser from the YouTube channel Front Page Tech, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will allow users to record video simultaneously with the front and rear cameras, directly within the Camera app.

8K video recording
Apple is said to have been testing 8K video recording on the iPhone 16 Pro models, but the feature has yet to be made available. Given that all of the iPhone 17 Pro's rear sensors are expected to be 48MP, it's likely that these models will be the first to offer 8K video support.

12 GB RAM
Initially, it was rumored that only the iPhone 17 Pro Max would have 12 GB of RAM, but later the iPhone 17 Pro was also included in this list. This memory increase will improve Apple's artificial intelligence functions (Apple Intelligence), as well as multitasking. All iPhone 16 models have 8 GB of RAM.

Improved cooling system
All iPhone 17 models are said to have internal changes that will help dissipate heat more efficiently. The Pro models are said to use a vapor chamber cooling system. /Telegraph/
