Despite the fact that the year we left behind was marked by many victims both from natural disasters and from the wars that took place in different parts of the world, from east to west on the night of the change of weather symbolically through pyrotechnic devices that lit up the sky, the year was welcomed New Year 2024.
In almost every metropolis of the world, citizens have gathered to take a close look at the marking of the New Year, where giant clocks were placed that had started counting down, Telegraph reports.

Even in Ukraine, the Gaza Strip and Israel, where fierce wars are taking place, the change of weather has been marked in a completely symbolic way.

And among the first countries that entered the New Year 2024 was New Zealand, rich from Australia and so on many other countries of the world.

In New York, as tradition loves, they have gathered in Times Square, where the Christmas tree lights are lit and thousands of citizens gathered with their loved ones.

A similar atmosphere reigned in London, Paris, Rome, Berlin and Vienna, where many citizens took to the squares to raise a toast and celebrate the year 2024, hoping that it will bring the things they feel they have missed.

Many countries, through direct broadcasts on television, have broadcasted the moment of lighting the fireworks that lit up the sky with different colors.

A giant screen was placed in a tower in New Zealand, through which the citizens watched the countdown of the clock, and with great cheers they awaited the arrival of the year that they called "of hope" for a better life.
In Kiev, where for days it has been the target of air attacks from Russia, which began the occupation of this country, the lights were turned on in Kiev despite the fact that they have been at war for two years.
A slightly similar atmosphere as in Ukraine also reigned in Israel, this country which has also been fighting for more than two months against the Palestinian militant group Hamas, which carried out one of the deadliest attacks on Israel on October 7, where as a result more than 1.200 people. /Telegraph/
