Hostage taking of citizen from Kosovo, footage emerges showing suspects having lunch with 39-year-old

New details have been made public regarding the arrest of three people in Vlora, suspected of being the perpetrators of the hostage-taking of a citizen from Kosovo, F.Xh, 39 years old.
The arrested are VA, O.Ç. and JZ.
According to footage obtained by the investigation team, the hostage is seen standing calmly in a bar, along with a friend of his and one of the arrested people.
These images have raised questions about the alleged hostage-taking, as the people appear to communicate freely and know each other, reports tch.
According to the defense, the 39-year-old from Kosovo came to Vlora with suitcases and personal belongings, intending to stay there for a period of time.
The hostage-taking complaint, according to lawyers, was made by his sister, who lives in Sweden.
The defense also claims that the young man was asking his family for money to repay a debt for which he had acted as guarantor, and that the situation was misinterpreted as hostage-taking.
A suitcase containing his personal clothes and belongings was also found in the apartment where the 39-year-old was allegedly staying, a fact that, according to the defense, reinforces the claim that he had gone there of his own free will.
