"He is very loved and very well integrated in Lille" - coach Genesio tells Zhegrova where he needs to improve

Edon Zhegrova is one of the main players at Lille this season and his coach Bruno Genesio has confirmed this, adding that there is still room for the Kosovo star to improve.

Zhegrova is among the players who are highly valued at Lille for their successes this year, while in the current edition he played 19 games, where he scored eight goals and provided two assists.

He was absent in the last match on the trip to Montpellier, where his team drew (2-2).

"He is a talented player who is able to make the difference in every period of the match. I have a good relationship with him and he thinks he can improve by continuing to have good matches. He has to be good in every game and he thinks he can improve in this aspect", Genesio initially said to the Europe 1 medium.

Zhegrova scored against teams like Fenerbahce, Slavia Prague, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Strasbourg and Rennes, while he assisted against Juventus and Le Havre.

He also scored a goal with Kosovo in the League of Nations, against Lithuania.

"He is a factor because he is able to score extraordinary goals, as he did in the European cups, especially in the playoffs. He is loved by everyone and has integrated very well into the Lillet team," Genesio underlined.

In the last season, Zhegrova scored 12 goals, while also giving 10 assists to Lille. /Telegraph/
