The teenager known as Bailey from Pennsylvania, United States, was dancing and not paying attention at all, as she prepared to fry the potatoes.
The moment she threw them into the hot oil, the space was engulfed in fire and she started to panic, Telegrafi reports.
"It was more heated than it should be, I could have suffered much worse", Bailey wrote about the case.
