Halkbank AD Skopje has decided to reduce some of its fees, in line with the new tariff model of the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia. With this decision, commissions for services to citizens and companies are significantly reduced, offering customers even more favorable conditions for carrying out financial transactions.
Even so far, Halkbank has offered attractive conditions in many segments in terms of fees. Thus, checking the balance of any card at an ATM has been and remains free of charge, while all Halkbank salary or pension recipients, with their Mastercard debit card, can withdraw money at ATMs of any bank in Macedonia without a commission. Also, withdrawing money from a foreign currency payment account is free of charge.
With the new changes, internal electronic orders for individuals, which previously cost 5 denars, will now be free. At the same time, the price of fast interbank electronic payments (MIPS) for individuals is reduced from 100 to 50 denars, while for paper orders through the bank counter, the new price is 80 denars per order, which means a 60% reduction from the previous fee.
There are also reductions for legal entities: the price of internal electronic orders is reduced from 11 to 7 denars, while MIPS electronic payments from 100 to 80 denars, depending on the amount. A change has also been made for paper orders for legal entities, where the new price is 200 denars, a 33% reduction from the previous price for these transfers.
These changes will directly benefit all customers, especially those who actively use digital channels and electronic payments. At the same time, all the benefits that the bank has offered so far remain in effect.
Halkbank also offers customers special packages with a range of benefits and reduced fees. For young people up to 24 years old, the package is dedicated Ring, which offers a free transaction account, mobile banking, card and other benefits. For pensioners, in addition to regular and punctual pension payment, a Pensioner package with many benefits – available services, free transactions and support for daily banking needs. While for those who receive their salary or pension through Halkbank, it is dedicated Smart Package, a complete banking solution that combines the most used services in one economical monthly package. This package includes: transactional account management, debit card, mobile and electronic banking, electronic orders, monthly statements and cash withdrawals from all ATMs in the country. The package also offers a gift ORYX Home Assistance – free of charge during the promotional period.
Furthermore, from October 7, Halkbank will start making cross-border transfers to the system. SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area)In the SEPA region, which includes 41 member countries and over 4.000 participants, all customers – natural and legal persons – will be able to make and receive payments in euros under the same conditions and with the same efficiency as within national borders.
With these steps, Halkbank once again confirms its strategy to be a bank that supports citizens and companies with more favorable conditions, modern digital solutions and integration into European payment standards.
