Government meeting - decisions and appointment of the Board of the RWC "Southern Hydroregion" 

The acting Government of the Republic of Kosovo held a meeting today in which it made several decisions and appointed the Board of Directors of the Public Enterprise "Regional Water Supply Company Hidroregjioni Jugor", in Prizren.

The Government's announcement states that the Board was appointed in this composition: Ylber Elshani, chairperson; Agim Muçaj, member; Selvete Xhigoli, member; Sulejman Gashi, member.

The request for a loan in the amount of 10 million euros for the PE "Telekom i Kosova Sh. A." was also approved in principle.

The acting Government of the Republic of Kosovo held a meeting today in which:

Appointed the Board of Directors of the Public Enterprise "Regional Water Supply Company Hidroregjioni Jugor Sh. A" Prizren with the following composition: Ylber Elshani, chairman; Agim Muçaj, member; Selvete Xhigoli, member; Sulejman Gashi, member.

Approved in principle the request for a loan in the amount of 10 million euros for the PE "Telekom i Kosova Sh. A.".

Reallocated 147 thousand euros for two capital projects: (1) “Adventure Park” in the Municipality of Kamenica; and (2) “Construction of the New Draganca and Old Draganca Road”, in the Municipality of Novo Brdo.

Approved the Action Plan 2025-2026 for the implementation of the Strategy for the Advancement of the Rights of the Roma and Ashkali Communities in the Republic of Kosovo-2022-2026. This plan aims not only to implement our political and institutional obligations, but also to build an equal and just society, where the Roma and Ashkali communities are not treated as special categories, but as citizens with full and guaranteed rights.

Established the Coordination Group for Large Carnivores: Brown Bear, Balkan Lynx and Wolf.

Approved the request of the Kosovo Privatization Agency for the return of funds transferred to the Budget of the Republic of Kosovo, to socially owned enterprises: 651 thousand euros to "NBI Suhareka" and 72 thousand euros to "KB Malisheva".

Approved the preliminary decision for the expropriation in the public interest of former socially owned immovable properties for the needs of the Central Security Institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in the Municipality of Prizren and Malisheva.

Approved the request for the transfer of the right of use and the change of the user in the plots located in the Municipality of Junik, in accordance with the method of use, duration and compensation of forests and forest land. The transfer of the right of use is made for the purpose of building the Monument to the Martyrs who fell on July 17, 98 at the place “Rrasa e Zogut”, Bjeshkët e Junik. The investment will be made through the Agency for the Management of Monuments and Memorial Complexes with an open competitive procedure, based on objective, transparent and non-discriminatory criteria.

Approved the Initiative for the conclusion of an International Agreement for the Promotion and Mutual Protection of Investments between the Republic of Kosovo, represented by the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, and the State of Israel. This agreement aims to create a stable legal basis for promoting economic cooperation between the two countries, encouraging mutual investments and ensuring a stable, transparent and protected climate for investors.

Approved the final decision for the expropriation in the public interest of the immovable property of the Social Enterprise "Agricultural Cooperative" Ropotovë e Madhe, ZK Dobërçan, managed and administered by the PAK, the expropriation of which is necessary for the implementation of the project: Village Cemetery and Sports Field in Dobërçan, Cadastral Zone: Dobërçan, Municipality of Gjilan.

Approved the final decision for the expropriation in the public interest of the former socially owned immovable property N Sh “Industria e Tekstilit Integj” cadastral plot No. 4945-7 and the building managed and administered by the KPA, the expropriation of which is necessary for the implementation of the project: “Kindergarten, green space and road infrastructure” in the Municipality of Gjilan.

Approved the final decision for the expropriation in the public interest of immovable properties affected by the implementation of the Project: Expansion of the National Road N2 Segment "Entrance to the City of Ferizaj". /Telegraph/
