Tickets for the British festival, Glastonbury, went on sale today (Sunday).

Thousands of music fans around the world tried to secure their place at this event, which will take place from June 25 to 29 next year.

Demand was extremely high and tickets were sold out in just 35 minutes, writes the BBC.

This year, organizers introduced a new ticketing system to make the process fairer and less stressful. Instead of the previous system, where customers had to repeatedly refresh the page to try to get tickets, now everyone interested was automatically assigned to the queue as soon as the sale started.

This approach was supposed to reduce technical difficulties and make it easier for users, but caused mixed reactions, as many were disappointed when they failed to get the tickets they wanted.

The ticket price is just over 447 euros with a reservation fee of six euros.

It has not yet been announced who will headline Glastonbury 2025, while Dua Lipa, SZA and Coldplay performed on the Pyramid's main stage this year.

Rumored headliners for next year include Olivia Rodrigo, Sam Fender, The 1975, Eminem, Green Day, Sabrina Carpenter, Fred Again and Harry Styles. /Telegraph/
