The meeting reviewed the progress and next steps for the conclusion and signing of the Collective Agreements with the five state universities. The parties emphasized the importance of completing this process within the stipulated deadlines, considering it as a necessary step for raising the quality of higher education and improving the status of academic staff.

President Gashi underlined that the Assembly is fully committed and acts with priority to conclude this process: "Signing the Collective Agreement is a lofty goal for me personally, but above all it is essential for professors and for increasing the quality of higher education."

On the other hand, professors representing unions praised the Speaker of the Assembly Gashi for his continued commitment, constructive approach and consistent stance in support of universities, underlining the expeditious action of the Assembly in addressing their requests as an example of institutional support.

"You are the first Speaker of the Assembly to stand by all universities in signing Collective Agreements, this gives us confidence that the process will be completed successfully," emphasized one of the representatives.

The parties agreed to intensify their work and respond to their obligations in a timely manner to achieve the realization of the joint commitment to improving the quality of higher education in the country.
