OVL-UCK warns former fighters: Do not participate in the Skopje protest, you may be arrested

The Organization of KLA War Veterans (OVL-KLA) has announced that participation in tomorrow's event in Skopje is voluntary and that so far no guarantees have been given for freedom of movement between the two states.
In its statement, OVL-UCK states: "The departure is voluntary and we believe that we will have the understanding of our comrades for the created circumstances. This event is a message to the international community and we expect the understanding of the institutions of North Macedonia, which is a member of NATO."
"We prefer our KLA fighters not to take that path, because we have no guarantees. Even if we ask for it, it is impossible for the state of North Macedonia to provide guarantees when you are on Europol's lists."
"Automatically, when your ID card is entered into the border police database and it turns out that you are wanted, the police are obliged to arrest you. That is why we tell our comrades not to participate. There are many citizens who will participate," the reaction further states.
The organization emphasizes that the protest is peaceful and aims to express dissatisfaction with the judicial process at the Specialist Chambers in The Hague.
According to OVL-UCK, citizens from Pristina and Tirana will also join in Skopje tomorrow. /Telegrafi/
