The general parliamentary elections in Kosovo will be held at the beginning of 2025, namely on February 9.
And in the lists of candidates for deputies from the LDK, PDK and Vetëvendosje Movement there were many surprising names, who are 'fighting' to occupy a seat in the Assembly.
One of them was the well-known Albanian singer, Edona Llalloshi, who joined Vetëvendosje, with number 19.
The news of her joining the Vetëvendosje Movement was also made official by the leader of this party, at the same time the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.
"Edona Llalloshi is one of the most loved names of our music scene. In her three-decade career, apart from her quality creations, she has stood out for her special personality. It is part of our list for the big win. With Edona, we will be even more dedicated to art and culture. Greetings, Edona", wrote Albin Kurti on Facebook.
Another name that will be part of the list of candidates for deputy in the February 9 parliamentary elections, within PDK, is Genc Prelvukaj.
The well-known artist announced concrete commitments for tangible changes in the future government, including the return of focus to the interests of citizens and the strengthening of Kosovo in the international arena.
Apart from them, the next contender for the seat of deputy is Lumbardh Salihu, as part of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK).
The winner of Big Brother VIP Kosova 2 expressed his happiness and emphasized that he will give his best.
"I see this opportunity as a great responsibility and I am fully committed to give my maximum contribution, aiming at the support of our citizens, so that LDK emerges victorious in these elections. Our program, "Rruga e Re", offers a clear vision for development and a brighter future for our country", declared Salihu a few days ago.
Another singer is running for the February 9 elections, but he is not well known to the public.
Burim Demiri from Gjilan is informed that he will be part of the list of candidates for MP from the Vetëvendosje Movement.
Actress Adriana Matoshi, who is competing to win her second mandate as a deputy after the one she won in the elections of February 14, 2021, will also be a candidate from the ruling party in these elections.
