The University Clinical Hospital Service of Kosovo (ShSKUK) has announced that four of the people injured by the explosion of the gas cylinder in Kciq, Mitrovica, are in a more serious state of health due to the burns they suffered.

As it is known in the announcement, the same after the operation were transferred for further treatment to the Central Intensive Medicine.


A total of 15 patients suffered injuries from the explosion of the canister. Only one of them has been released to go home, while the others are being treated at the KKUK clinics.

"Four of them were operated on in the emergency room, while the others were operated on in the small surgery room, the Reanimation Service and the Surgical Service, of the same clinic."

"Four patients have been transferred to the Central Intensive Care Unit for further treatment, as they are in a more serious health condition due to the burn", it is stated in the press release of the SCUK.

Furthermore, it is known that eight patients have been transferred to the Plastic Surgery Clinic, where they are continuing treatment and supervision by the health staff.

"Two in Abdominal Surgery and one will be transferred to Thoracic Surgery. The medical and nursing staff of these clinics will continue to provide 24-hour health care and supervision for these patients," it says, among other things. /Telegrafi/
