On April 3, the presidential and parliamentary elections of Serbia are expected to be held.

As long as this date is available, the pressure is increasing on the leaders of Kosovo's institutions to allow them to be held in the territory of Kosovo.

Analysts in "Debat Plus" with Ermal Panduri on RTV Dukagjini are divided. Some of them think that the elections will be held after international pressure, while there are those who think that the Serbian elections in Kosovo will not be held.

The former Deputy Minister for Communities and Return, Milazim Gashi, says that the Government of Kosovo will find a modality that does not completely endanger the citizenship of Kosovo, and the Serbian elections will be held in Kosovo as well.

"This is definitely a challenge for the Kurti Government. Kurti was wrong that he did not deal more with the Serbian community. He should have made more visits to the north to the Serbian community. He has not taken any steps to talk with the local Serbian community," he said, Telegrafi reports.

Former deputy Visar Ymeri says that there is no time for an agreement on holding Serbian elections in Kosovo.

"It would be much easier to reject the Serbian elections if there was no agreement than now. Now the international pressure has come and we have to think about how to allow Serbian elections to be held in Kosovo. The question now is how to find a mechanism that would save the face of Prime Minister Kurti", declared Ymeri.

Analyst Ylli Hoxha says that if Serbia agreed to negotiate for the holding of elections in Kosovo, it would de facto accept the state of Kosovo.

"But since Serbia does not agree to negotiate on this issue, the Government must stand by its decision to stop Serbia's referendum. The government must be determined precisely in these kinds of situations. You are not determined when everyone is determined."

Hoxha says that on April 3 there may be an aggravation of the situation, but according to him this would cost Serbia more than Kosovo.

Vehbi Kajtazi says that the US is asking Kosovo to allow Serbian elections in Kosovo.

He says that the last visit of the American delegation is also related to this topic.

"Kosova will certainly benefit from something in exchange for allowing these elections," said Kajtazi.

The PSD vice-president, Zgjim Hyseni, says that the Government lacks consistency in relation to allowing Serbian elections in Kosovo.

"There are some indicators that the Government will allow the holding of the Serbian elections, only that they are trying to find a way where they would come out well and with good face", stated Hyseni.

We remind you that on January 15, the Assembly of Kosovo approved a resolution through which it was opposed to the holding of votes organized by Serbia in Kosovo, for a referendum of Serbia on constitutional changes.
