If you like prunes, we give you one more reason to eat them - they're good for your bones.

Scientists at the University of Florida in Oklahoma have proven that consuming ten prunes a day improves bone density.

The authors of the study say that none of the other trees had this effect on bone density like plums.

The results were obtained after a one-year study of two groups of women, one of which ate plums, and in the end it resulted in better bone density. /Telegraph/
