Five foreign tourists died after a private plane they were traveling in crashed into the sea shortly after taking off from the island of Roatán, off the Atlantic coast of Honduras
Local officials provided details about the case, adding that four of the victims were from the United States of America, while the nationality of the fifth victim had not yet been determined.
Authorities said they could not confirm the cause of the crash.
The plane was headed for the tourist town of Trujillo, about 80 kilometers from Roatán, a picturesque island frequented by American, Canadian and European tourists. /Telegraph/
