Eurovision 2025 winner gets emotional when he sees the crowd waiting for him at Vienna airport
A crowd of fans enthusiastically welcomed JJ at Vienna airport today, after he won the 69th Eurovision Song Contest with "Wasted Love".
As JJ walked through the airport, hundreds of fans cheered him on, others hugged him and asked for autographs, while the winning song of the Eurovision Song Contest played in the background.
JJ ended up crying, was greeted with a bouquet of roses, and thanked the audience for their well-deserved support and reception.
"This is beyond my dreams," said JJ after winning the 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday night.
He earned a total of 436 points – 178 from the public and 258 from the jury.
JJ was born in 2001 in Vienna and grew up in Dubai. Thanks to his father, who often took him to karaoke and the opera, he fell in love with music. He returned to Vienna with his family in 2016.
Also, in 2020, he competed in the British edition of the show "The Voice".
He also said that he is 'queer' and that he is happy to represent his community in this music competition. /Telegraph/
