Filkov: The government and the civil sector together will fight against crime and corruption

The Minister of Justice, Igor Fillkov together with the Prime Minister Hristian Mickoski and some ministers participated in the first meeting from the series of meetings with the civil sector "Dialogue between the Government and the civil sector" on the topic: The rule of justice, good governance and the fight against corruption in the organization of the International Republican Institute.
The fight against crime and corruption must be decisive, while the Government's goal is to enable better functioning of institutions and good governance through dialogue and communication with civil organizations.
The Minister of Justice, Igor Fillkov emphasized that civil organizations, informal networks and activists are involved in the activities of the Ministry of Justice.
"The door of civil society organizations is open and this is proven by the fact that in every working group for changes to laws, by-laws, drafting strategies, manuals, these organizations are part of them and are actively involved together with the employees of the Ministry of Justice with whom they have a successful cooperation. They are always, without exception, involved in all public debates initiated by the Ministry of Justice and we follow their recommendations and take them into account with special attention", said Minister of Justice Igor Filkov.
Minister Fillkov ordered that the sphere of the rule of justice and the fight against corruption are key priorities for all of us, while this can only be achieved with joint commitments of institutions and civil society.
