The Regional Police Directorate in Peja has announced that on November 11, 2025, at around 16:00 PM, the Istog Police Station was informed of a beating that occurred on the streets "Mullinjtë e Istogut" and "Fadil Ferati" in this city.
The announcement states that police units reacted quickly and immediately responded to the scene, where it was understood that initially two people were fighting among themselves and that they had also used cold weapons.
"As a result of this incident, one of the suspects attempted to hit the other suspect with a car, damaging three parked cars and the windows of a bar. One of the suspects was attacked with a sharp object and was injured during the attack," the statement said.
As a result of the swift action, one of the suspects was arrested and provided with medical assistance after being injured, while the other suspect, known to the Police, is on the run.
The suspect, after being interviewed by investigators on the orders of the state prosecutor, was remanded in custody for 48 hours. /Telegraphy/
