FIFA and UEFA cause scandal: Represent Kosovo, part of Serbia, in the draw of the World Championship

FIFA and UEFA caused a big scandal during the World Cup qualifying draw, presenting Kosovo as part of Serbia.

The much-anticipated draw in Zurich was available to stream live on FIFA+ and the official YouTube channel.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino introduced the event before Robert Pires, Gianluca Zambrotta, Rachel Yankey, Ariane Hingst and Fernando Llorente stepped in to aid proceedings.

But before the draw was made, the officials presented a presentation with factors that "must be taken into account".

Here, international relations were mentioned as a factor that could influence which team a group goes into, and a map showed Kosovo, part of Serbia, while it also showed Crimea, part of Russia.

Kosovo is part of the world football house since 2016, while the latter continue to make the same scandal from year to year.

Of course, social networks, especially the X platform (formerly Twitter), have begun to react to this scandal, as FIFA has insulted its member countries. /Telegraph/
