Facing hybrid threats, Macedonia joins the European Center of Excellence

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bujar Osmani, together with the director of the European Center of Excellence for Dealing with Hybrid Threats in Helsinki, signed the Memorandum for Macedonia's membership in this center, making it the 35th participating country.

Osmani emphasized that the merger is happening at an extremely significant moment when the whole world, including the country, is facing intensified hybrid attacks.

"To be able to place the RMV flag together with these 34 other flags of NATO and EU member countries. I think that in these times, which are caused by the new geopolitical concept, Russian aggression in Ukraine, all the challenges that the Western Balkans have with the EU membership process and open issues make our region a fertile ground for hybrid threats", said Bujar Osmani.
