Excellent performances this season, Barcelona is rewarding Raphinhan with a new contract

Barcelona wanted at all costs to remove the Brazilian striker Raphinha during the summer, but in the end they did not succeed in such a thing.

According to Catalan newspaper Sport, Barcelona are considering potentially rewarding Raphinhan for his excellent start to the 2024/25 season.

The leaders of the Catalan club are looking at the possibility of giving him a new contract extension to tie him down for an even longer period.

Barça is not only impressed by his performances, but also his leadership qualities, as well as the character and attitude shown by the Brazilian during matches.

Raphinha's current deal does not expire until the end of June 2027, but Barca believe he can be a massive long-term asset and are considering an extension to that deal.
