The selector of Switzerland, Murat Yakin, has said that Xherdan Shaqiri will play from the first minute, since when he is fit, it is not discussed.

Blick writes that there would have been reasons if Yakin had left Shaqiri on the bench, as he ended the MLS season with the Chicago Fire on October 9. It means that Shaqa has not played a match for 108 days.

The friendly against Ghana was not the best for Shaqiri, where according to Blick he was not noticed on the field, while he was justified after the match that it was hot.

"If Shaqiri is fit, he is indisputable. Then he has these great moments in the game, even if you don't always see it. He plays against Cameroon", said Yakin.

Even the former player of Switzerland, Blerim Xhemaili, thinks that Yakin's decision is right.
